jcm 2,327
How you getting on with your young animals, are they making good progress or slow to mature? I have a young dog on my self that has his problems but he is makeing a tidy animal and at around 18 month or so if he carries on the way he is then he will keep me happy for a lot of years. I'll upload a picture or two a bit later on tonight ? 1 Quote Link to post

Gaz_1989 9,539
My pup is 12 month old in a fortnight, still got a long way to go and is like a 25" terrier in temperament, she really knows how to press my buttons too, but she's doing alright in the field and I can see potential in there somewhere. Yesterday with my girl... A few of her small bags... (Hare was shot on my mates permission, just added it to the photo at end of night). 6 Quote Link to post

white van man 3,505
My lads first season and he seems to be picking things up fine. He's a bit of pain if I'm out with other dogs, especially ferreting but I can put this down to his age!! He lamps well, happy with his retrieve and he's getting more steady when we are out ferreting. He's been easy to train and is also a cracking pet. He's head and shoulders above any lurcher a I have owned but for some reason I don't feel we have bonded as well. Either way I'm looking forward to the next couple of months and next season. 3 Quote Link to post
