Absolutely Skycat, that could be argued and if he was my dog I'd be chuffed but he had 3 minutes to have a go and didn't.

Opportunity favoured the dog and not the hare, but IMO the dog got lucky. Good dogs should make their own luck.

The dog worked a strong hare until it made a mistake, then it took it out. That is what good dogs do. Most wizz bangers would have been burnt out on that hare.

I don't worry if it caught in the biggest field on the fen cover ditches woods or whatever as long as it's caught dogs run for 3 or 4 mins giving all its got I'd never think hare deserves to get away
