bird 10,014
went out with dogs + bike done 2 mile roads , then went back home took the bike back and walked about the distance again. as was walking to my place, the woman next door got a old cat , ive never seen it before i but knew of it from chatting to her .. what i do is tie both rope leads together to make one , and both dogs will walk nice and steady no prob, well as got by the womans house , her cat was laying out front drive, this open drive way , fookin bryn seen it and stoped and just stared Buck looked as well so got the lead in my hands and started to walk past, but bryn made a pull for it, i yanked the lead hard that stoped him , but Buck went for it now , i couldnt hold him back, so i lifted him up on to his back legs ,that helped to control him alot better. so dragged bryn and carried Buck past the house, the cat was just laying flicking its tail, i think its a old cat and likes dogs must have round them before. mine havnt , and Buck will kill any cat given the chance. , it was a nice old cat, and her pet and i respect that, but i think it used up one of its 9 lives that day lol i get on well with woman so it would all gone bad if Buck chopped her cat, you got to try to get on with people i think .
walshie 2,804
Especially when her cat is lying in her own drive mate. Got to be very careful of that.

BGD 6,437
My bitch hates cats, to the point of climbing under cars to get them. One of my bulldogs is a c**t for that I'll be strolling down the street with him and he suddenly dives under a parked car and a cat comes flying out of the other side. Happens on every fecking walk Edited November 2, 2015 by BGD

Bosun11 537
Not a lover of cats either but I break all my dogs to them. That's the best thing to do. It just may save a whole load of bother later on.

Joe1888 672
The mrs would have me homeless if any of mine touched a cat. We have two, bring plenty food to the door that the ferrets normaly end up with
dare 1,103
Sounds to me like your just a decent bloke ray . My old staff got two cats that came into our garden. Ive never owned a cat so never liked em the way i do dogs. Also cant read em like i can dogs so that puts me off. If it happens by accident hey thats life but id always try prevent it. My frenchie will look at em and carry on walking with no problems but if they take off thats it shes screaming the place down n pulling to get at it.
terryd 8,809
My neighbour had a cat 15 years plus that died a while back. They were really attached. It would have been shameful if my dog had ever got hold of it. I am trying hard to get him used to them but at the moment its a no. Your average cat wouldn't realise what was coming his way until its too late so needs sorting asap
