Every time man interferes and culls out to much, or re introduces it goes badly wrong, only saw a good example of this last week on BBC4, the heavy wolf cull in Yellowstone, deer numbers went mad and they ate everything, ruined the whole eco system. Rabbits into OZ, cats into Tazmania, how many times before we'll learn?

That was the one mate, early tourist didn't want to see the nasty wolves killing the cute bambies, so they shot the lot, then the deer ate everything in sight and unbalanced the whole park :blink:

one site earmarked for the lynx is ennerdale as part of the "wild ennerdale progect" and i for one hope it goes ahead! theirs 2 fell packs and 2 gun packs..my hounds and at least 10 lads with a army of bullxs not to mention half a dozen lads who shoot around their......i predict they last about a month! as soon as their let go it will be like fecking blackpool up their

Hahaha. There is a reason large predators are extinct in the UK.

 

If you think the badger is over protected, just wait until the 're-wilding' lobby start getting their legislation through parliament...

Then why didn't you just say that mate..........you've named specific projects in specific locations & in the process roping in all the local hunters & yourself & using 'tabloid' language like "army of bullxs....." Talk about drawing attention....

 

It's a monitored open forum mate................but crack on, I apologise if I'm being out of order.......just my opinion....
