If he had cut the throat where he found the injured deer, then took it home surely he would have been OK ?

 

I've used my knife to dispatch a shot deer that was unfortunately still alive.

 

His own fault for putting it on the devil book

He slit its throat? I can't fathom how that's inhumane?

I think it's cos he took a suffering animal home in his car before doing so.

 

Also he pleaded guilty. A good solicitor would have got him off as taking game from the roadside isn't a crime, neither is butchering an animal for home consumption.

 

Again if it had been dead first then think he'd be fine.

So if the rspca took the animal back to a centre and then decided the best option was to euthanise it?................ :hmm:
