34£ for the Friday....robbing fuckers..

Still tempted though, I'm in Settle that week so travel costs a 3rd off.

Need some new boots, might be able to off set entrance fee with a bargain!

if that's the entrance fee the stand prices will be worse, traders need to make a living, so don't think they will be many bargains, unlike the old fairs, when you could really get a good deal,

I went about 3 years ago when it was down this way, ragley hall I think, maybe wrong...

There are deals to be had, plus you get to try before you buy, internet shopping is ok but can't beat getting your hands on stuff before you part with coin

Nope. Too far. Too expensive. Last time I was there |I had an argument with a bloke selling beer at a big stall, who had just charged me a small mortgage for a pint. I said " can you get a scotch in there as well?". He said "Yes". I said "Well put some freakin beer in it then!!" I love the concept of a game fair but they get taken over by the greedy 'entrepreneur' organisers.

I like the Midland if I do go. Advanced fees:-

Adult (16 years +) - £18.00
Children (15 and Under) - FREE (when accompanied by a full paying adult)
Adult Weekend Ticket - £34.00

Is it true that they have to put the entrance prices up when its at Ragley cos the tight Yorkies wont put their hands in their pockets and profits are down. :whistling::thumbs:

£18 at the midland or £20 at the CLA?. £2 difference is hardly worth complaining about is it?. I will stick with the CLA.
