Malt 379
Finished watching series one of this last night, holy shit! One of the best shows I've ever watched. Mcconaughey's performance was probably the best I've ever seen in a TV show and Harrelsons wasn't far behind. I'd 100% recommend this series to anyone who hasn't seen it.. Malt 379
I was hoping they'd put it on prime. As its a pay to view at the mo.I watched it on Now TV. I fecked Sky off a few weeks back, virtually everything I watched on it is available on there for 5.99 or so a month. I was paying 10 times that..
THE STIFFMEISTER 17,380
Finally.... Every so often a show comes along that is so good, you don't want other people to watch it ..,, For me, having watched from the start, the mesh of scenery, the achingly beautiful soundtrack , the fantastic cinema photography and the whole southern gothic ambience floored me. With probably my two favourite actors in it , I was mesmerised every week.......the part where rust khole is describing the dreams sequence over a panoramic of reggie ledoux emerging from his hovel, is on par with anything done in the sopranos or the wire..... I couldn't watch it with other people, just myself, uninterrupted , Watched season two premiere last week....true detective is always a slow build , but I can't see it surpassing season 1..... Although Vincent Vaughan is bringing his a game as a straight bloke....I expected his ad lib quips to be present, but he is morose and The anchor so far....can't stick Farrell though....so maybe onto a looser from the start with it
