villaman 9,983 Posted June 21, 2015 Author Report Share Posted June 21, 2015 They do take some beating , I have had different PCPs over the years and at the end of the day IMO you cant beat the HW100 ,for accuracy ,build quality and price . The gun which comes near is the ultra ,but you do need to get a reg in them Can I ask what makes you say an Ultra? Why not a Scorpion [essentially the same thing? or an AA? Mate of mine has a s410 a very good gun , but he is amazed on how accurate the ultra is ,with the reg it's got a spread of only 4 fps over 55 shots and great little gun for hides, tight woodland and great with my pulsar N550 on top and probably cheaper with a reg than a S410 and a 510 Quote Link to post

If cost is an issue. I, personally would take a 410, defiantly a 510 over an Ultra. But as you say, its what its being used for. I wouldnt buy an rifle for just hide shooting mind, Id make do and make the hide bigger for the length of a 5. Quote Link to post
