Alan... 172
So I got my walther R8 around 4 weeks ago. About the same time I got the keys to my new house, so with work and ripping everything out of the new house i've not had time for anything remotely fun, but tonight I decided I needed a break. Headed to the stables at 9:30pm, was a few rabbits about, went to my usual spots but missed my first 3 shots, absolutely fuming with myself and convinced I'd knocked the scope, was about to go and check my zero when a rabbit popped out around 30 yards away, a double backflip later the first one in the bag, after 2 hours ended the night on 4, would have been 6 but two done a dissapearing act Alan. 1 Quote Link to post

Coypu Hunter 486
Nice shootin', Tex! How's the Walther shooting? What's its max range in terms of killzone-size groups? I had the CO2 version for a while -- the 850 AirMagnum -- which was surgically accurate, but you needed to check zero every time you used it due to the effect of temperature on the CO2. 1 Quote Link to post

Alan... 172
Cheers lads, could't really comment CH, zero'd at 25 and pellet on pellet (if it couldn't do that it would be in the bin ) Furthest last night was 40, but that's just one pellet not killzone groups Alan. Quote Link to post

secretagentmole 1,701
Does using the barrel mounted bipod affect accuracy? I would have thought that the gun weight would cause the barrel to flex upwards affecting aimpoints.... Quote Link to post
Alan... 172
I have no idea, but that's a very good question Quote Link to post
