It won't get repealed. But at least we know it won't get any tougher over the next 5 years.

well we will see if he has the bottle to go through with it should not be a problem to a man who cuts the disabled without batting a eyelid preys on the weak. probably get too much opposition and shit

terrier work is the most humane selective and efficient way of dealing with any predator in the UK/ EIRE over the last 200+ years... terrier work has been the most scrutinized under the microscope field craft in history and still came out on top! why? because when done correctly by competent individuals it is the most selective as in target species, the most efficient as in 1 terrier is used to ground and when dug to terrier removed and fox dispatched = humane! as natural as nature its self, as glyn has said.... if anyone has read the burns reports from back in the day....they tried there best...you best believe they did... but even under scientific review...ie..welfare and stress levels of the quarry & terrier.... they seen the sense of logic....there was NO stress levels from terrier or quarry it was the equivilant of any of us going a walk to the shops for milk!. but if folk don't up there game....its only a spit away from going too! it was never terrier work in its natural form that was under threat...its only us who tarnishes our OWN image and keep the fones videos and cameras at home when out, for the men who are trying to get into this tradition...your the future so read up on your laws find the old reports, read the animal health and welfare bills find out what there saying and how there coming at you..... only then terrier work in its correct form will still be the most natural method of fox control for the next 200 years!

I agree with what your saying, but as far as I'm aware the only reason we still have terrier work is cause the shooting/game keeping organisations fought to keep it, the nfu sat on the fence and that's why protecting livestock isn't mentioned in the law.

i think the best thing is just keep on going the way we are and try keep within the law the best you can, because all trying to over turn the ban would do is bring a load of unwanted attention on the hunting world again, and all that what would be in the papers and news would be another load of anti propaganda bull sh@t. things could quite easily end up a lot worse for the terrier game than they are at the mo,

there is more than one way to skin a cat and going for a complete over turn of the ban would end bad
