If you don't work and got all day to do dogs two dogs may be OK.even s walk is s training lesson.smells.noises.rabbit's. Smelling down holed.jumping s ditch.cattle.stock.cars.how can this be walking to pups together. Let alone serious training. I'd be in a mental home within a week.

First bit of advice id give is don't bring two pups up together

All newbies to this game make the same mistakes like getting over dogged, its a very common mistake also to buy 2 pups round the same time and even the same litter, enthusiasm will take you so far befo

perhaps im getting paranoid, but this post like some others sounds a bit made up and encouraging people to speak about illegal activities.

I had 2 pups litter brother and sister worked full time and managed with a young pressa to. got to get the time and training in but then thats the bit i really enjoy. Im up at 5 with this little one for walkies before work then ride the horse then take the pack out now my chill time nearly kept 2 pups this time but thought that it maybe 1 to many.

Thanks everybody for advice and replies this website is really well done and helpful, I've already been given advice on having the 2 of them at the same time and about taking time with each pup one on one and also rotating on which pup I take out to make sure they have plenty of time to learn, I have some friends who have been at this a lot longer than me but they seem so keen to start the pups so quick but I've had some advice from a guy who told me if I rush them into something that bites back I'll regret it because they could easily be turned off if they get a bad bang back from something, that's all I'm wondering on what other peoples opinions are or should I just go along with my friends they swear by the way they do things and they have hard dogs with no problems but I always think other opinions and ideas wouldn't do any harm thanks again to everyone for the quick responses and advice ye are great.

And Sandymere I know I just said bull x greyhound I'm just not 100% on the breeding beyond that but I will find out there obviously not first cross bull greyhounds the mothers are smaller with huge bull heads very fast dogs but the father is an absolutely huge dog very strong and both pups seem to be coming along to look just like him I'll find out the breeding exactly and post some pics, thanks again for all advice guys.

I am finding the one pup needs a huge amount of time if you want a well rounded dog. Mine is more of a triangle at the moment  . I am loving every minute well all most every minute lol but I sure as hell wouldn't want two.Training and socialising seems to be key and worrying if it will chase stuff later on is a minor detail and the easy bit

i think the key to your answer is the time and has wirral pointed out is the amount of work you have i would only own one pup but thats just me i ilke to get mine out early learning about sights smells and stock breaking first plus dangers ferreting etc i think it stands them in better stead than a dog thats just been walked

I don't think you are getting paranoid jeemes. Doesn't know how his pup is bred and it's 5-6 months old and got another pup from the same sire from a different litter. Been going out with his mates for 2 years with these HARD dogs, now that's a word I do not see touted about on THL very often. He says Mothers are smaller with huge bull heads very fast dogs. Don't sound like a the fastest dogs to me. Wants to see pics of bull x's, there is hundreds if not thousands already on here.
