foxbolter 447
Fireman I find it hard to believe that you don't care about digging out of season I know you got to go when you have call out but it wouldn't be something I would enjoy doing this time of year 5 Quote Link to post

fireman 11,392
The anti hunting law also says they got to die these days (pre ban you were allowed to move them ) as we'd have done the same a couple of times, but feck trying to explain to a copper on the side of the road why you got a bagged fox with terriers and spades as well as that could go very very wrong for you and your dogs and when a busy keeper farmer who was hedge cutting and spotted the hole and just had that feeling it held then i'm off out to it and if it was cubs and undiggable then the gas would have gone in no problem and it's called pest control goat.. 3 Quote Link to post
WEDGEY 767
It's the time of the year when all the poachers turn gamekeepers 3 Quote Link to post

the goat 642
Fat man wasn't referring to you, some lads I work with do feck all winter then start about now and demolish every litter they know for, and then tell us like it they're proud of it. Can't fecking stand that! And yes your right it was against the law but it wasn't my I was just there to throw some soil about...but if a keeper who's also a hunting man himself asked for them to be moved rather than killed I wasn't going to argue with him Or read him His rights, just goes to show how f****d up the law is. 2 Quote Link to post
unlacedgecko 1,467
No it's been fcuking wank. I've had 1 day out with aad and we blanked. I've no terriers at the moment, so if anyone hears of any good digging litters drop me a PM. Black dogs or Russell's I don't mind travelling or putting my hand in my pocket. I would want to see both parents though. None of this buying pupa out of vans in service stations... 1 Quote Link to post
fireman 11,392
Fireman I find it hard to believe that you don't care about digging out of season I know you got to go when you have call out but it wouldn't be something I would enjoy doing this time of year Sentament don't come into it as like i say it's pest control and if i had said "no i don't bother this time of year" to the keeper then he'd have someone else in to do my terriers job ,it's a shoot and why would any keeper on this planet let a litter of foxes be on his ground as it takes a good few birds a day to rear a litter of fox cubs or is that a unkown fact to many?. 2 Quote Link to post
