Blackbriar 8,569
Nice thoughts MoNicole ! Im nearly 52, and I'm not ashamed to admit that I love my mum, and I owe everything to her. My old dad died a few years back, so I'm glad to still have her around. Happy birthday for yesterday, by the way ! well I am 10 years older than you, both my mom + dad are dead, and even at my age +married with a 28 year old son, I still think about my parents, more so my mom . we very close I don't know why, because ive got 2 brothers and 2 sisters , so big family, me and the old man were like to pits at each other from 18 - 28 and after really. I am the eldest son, my sisters are older than me. but in all honesty I know some want agree with me, but my mother was prob the best woman in my life, she always stood by me, even when I done some things wrong , I was bit of a lad when younger lol . I know I am right because my wife as same feeling for my son now he only child, but you can see she would die for him . I met a lot of women before I got married , didn't marry until I was 30 so had good time lol. but I never in all that time ever met a women as true as what my old mom was like, my wife a good women and stands by me , but not true as our old mom was. so both father day+mothers day I always feel bit sad Bird, I think that's one of the most heartfelt things I've ever read. I'm sure you're a credit to her, mate !
