Saluki246 1,053
Great to see, but they seem to be breeding earlier. I seen leverets too running about the other day, even though its freezing here right now and snowing on and off...! Quote Link to post

FUJI 17,711
So that means your best hares are late November & December then?..I always said that all this January being the best was a heap of shite..I used to stop running them at Xmas..obviously some Jesus like daywalker who preached the gospel must of missed a hare in January when his dog weren't fit or blew out from running good hares the previous month and decided they were harder to catch and the remainder of the day walking flock have preached the same bollox ever since haha ...great pic Ken ?? 3 Quote Link to post
FUJI 17,711
Waterloo Cup was always ran first week of March was it not? So they weren't the most sporting running them then and I always said that, yes it was in the day but a pregnant hare day or night is no big deal.. I've always said Max down South where the temperature is a few degrees warmer at worst they should be breeding sooner and lots of hares up North are laden with or had young in January..surely you would think it would be no different or even sooner they were pregnant or had young on the ground down South because of that alone? Just never went along with that January myth, load of utter rubbish..daywalkers can say what they want,I'm not having none of it lol Quote Link to post
dodger 3,589
December-January they are mostly at there best now.. Quote Link to post
