socks 32,253
Well I made the trip up to lofti's to pick up my new pup and I must say what a cracking even litter ... Well fed healthy and not a nervous pup amongst them ... After a quick look at all the pups lofti picked out the two bitches that were left to chose from and we whent to sit in the living room to have a good look at them ... Confidence and energy level wise there was nothing between them with them both running around and tumbling and play fighting non stop ... Shape however there was a noticeable difference with the brindle pup looking like a miniature of its sire and the fawn bitch looking more like the dam .... My brain was telling me to go for the brindle bitch but my heart was edging towards the fawn bitch ... Normally my brain wins every time and I go with what I think best and put emotion to one side but today for some reason I whent with my heart and came away with the fawn bitch ... Name wise well my missus said to me you have taken a gamble on going against your brain so what about lotty ( lottery gamble = lotty) ..... Loaded up for the three hour drive home ...... Meeting the first of the Animals ... She got a bit to brave after a few minuets and was put in her box with a quick swipe lol ...... Here she is getting to know my cocker who will be her surrogate mother for the next few weeks ...... The cockers tail is her new toy lol ...... She settled in well and was straight into her food bowl when it was put down which is always a good sign ..... 17 Quote Link to post
