Best Digging Boots?

Recommended Posts

Hoggs are not the boot they used to be.

My first pair lasted 16 seasons with digging up to 6 days a week, I still have them.

5 seasons ago I bought another pair and I'll be surprised if they last another 5.

I seen a pair for sale in England a few weeks ago that looked good. I think the seller said they were made by Keenans.

I think they's fell boots will be well made.

That's them. They looked good and if I needed a pair I'd have bought them.

Fell boots will spoil you for digging and hunting, once your used to them nothing else will do.

to be honest mate they don't look that comfortable to me especially if you have to walk a good distance on rough ground to get to your destination the peacekeepers safety boots are the way forward but everyone is different I suppose

There's a couple of hundred years of combined hunting knowledge in that photo and all those legs have covered tens of thousands of miles (if not more) it's no wonder they don't have to advertise the Fell Boot and explains why there's often a waiting list for them.
