Do You Run You Dogs On Ploughed Fields

I cannot envisage how a dog could break its leg running plough,its a bit of undulating yet fairly even land,a few knocks,strains and the odd sprain,yet a breakage?.Saying that I knew a good bitch that wrecked an ankle joint on even ground,she never ran again.
