Ive seen a few wheeler dogs do this

One of those things but if its done 41/2 for ya dont rush into doing owt give it a chance might be having a bad day

I'd give him a month off give a couse of antibiotics to clear him out then try him i dont want to put a downer on it but i dont think he'll go again with what ive seen of the wheeler dogs

Its start of the season, strange things happen, and no one can say what goes on under ground.Did you actually break through to the dog on 1st day out, maybe he killed and came away from his kill or did you try a young dog on that day. This time of year quarry is still on the small side and can fly through tubes, dont be too quick to right of the dog after all he had done 3 seasons without fault so give him the benifit of the doubt and wait a bit try him again, jmho.

he came out then I had my young dog with me 15 month old he flew in and we got the dig to a decent sized bit of quarry.. for my terriers first time I was very pleased just hope it hasn't nocked him back .but its onwards and upwards now just gotta keep trying and bring in new stuff and hope to get it working
