Lurcher Missing

I have had a phone call to day from a broken hearted Lurcher man, requesting me to put up a post to try and find or locate his Lurcher canine friend, and hunting companion that went missing yesterday Sunday from Birr Castle Game Fair . The dog disappeared from the gentlemans trailer, while he was showing his whippet in the show ring. As this is a genuine Country Sports and Hunting man, and has reared this dog from a pup, to the now age of 2 years, it is like loosing a member of his family.

Description Colour : Fawn and White

Rough Coated Collie/ Wheaten Over 23

Dog : Micro Chipped

Name : Borris.

Please keep an eye out for this dog, and may be some of the hunting fraternity will come across it, and help to get it returned to its owner John Shaw.

If anyone has an idea where this dog may be , please contact the owner direct John Shaw on : 07746 939209, or pm me on this site.

I am begging you all as good friends, please keep an eye open for this dog, and help bring it home to a very distressed owner and dog lover.

Thanking you in anticipation

what a shame hope he gets it back but this is the only place that type of thing would happen as the only time i was every there travellers where always asking much you take for that dog and hanging round peoples trailers you just knew not to let dogs out of your sight

Robert,

The traveller problem as you describe happened for one year only and was dealt with immediately and it is not only travellers who might want to purchase a dog they take a particular fancy to.

We hope that the dog has strayed rather than having been stolen as it was not in the trailer but tied to it. I have offered a £200 reward for information leading to the return of the dog.

Not being funny but who in there right mind would leave there dog tied up unattended at a gamefair ....

I hope the dog is found and a bit of common sense used in the future..

Right or wrong the objective now is to get the dog back. Paul Reynolds has put up £100 and I have put up £200 for information leading to the return of the dog or if someone found the dog loose to return the dog. Please contact the owner John shaw or myself
