Lab 10,979
Mate first the courts... Why would you want the law of another land! Second the markets have shown not an uncertaintiy drop but a complete lack of confidence! Well we have similar laws the now don't we. I reckon they wouldn't change much. I've no idea how the courts would work out. I'm pretty sure someone will have looked into all that....like everything else has been in very, very small detail. I'll just not be pushed into thinking that Salmond has done this to be some heroic figure. They just doesn't add up I'm afraid.
WILF 49,938
If I was making such a decision then "small details" would matter to me !!
Lab 10,979
If I was making such a decision then "small details" would matter to me !! As I said I'm sure every tiny detail has been argued over, discussed and put to bed. I can only say I've read enough to be confident to vote Yes......I think the fear tactic is getting old now. WILF 49,938
Every detail.......except of course unimportant things like "what money do you use?"........"what value will it have?" Etc ? Honestly, you couldn't make it up pal !!

Honestly, you couldn't make it up pal !! Round and round we go....lol Do you think it's strange that only yesterday Westminster wanted to offer "extra powers" but disregarded them back in February? Squeaky bum time???
WILF 49,938
I think Westminster for all it's faults can see the folly of Salmonds quest mate.......for once they are thinking in terms of this nation and the massive damage Salmond and his crackpots will inflict on all of us. Make no mistake, if Scotland piss off, England, Wales and Northern Ireland won't get out unscathed. I think they are shitting it because they didn't believe anyone would take Salmond seriously as the whole plane is so full of holes it's a joke........but they seem to have given folk more credit then they were due and it's looks like people could actually vote for this nonsense. Let's face it, most people who vote Yes will be voting for the idea not a well thought out plan......because there isn't one. Make no mistake, if Scotland piss off, England, Wales and Northern Ireland won't get out unscathed. Exactly.....thinking of the nation now cause there scared we piss off and manage quite easily on our own. So really back in Feb' when the No campaign was well infront they were only thinking of themselves.? I don't think that's too hard too believe mate is it? And that's the attitude that lots of us up here have been awakened to now. I don't have the answers and yes it's scary having to put your trust in politicians but something has to be done and it's getting done now. Come the 18th this wee country, my wee country is going to change forever. I hope for a Yes vote but if not and it's a No there will still be changes. I reckon lots will up sticks and leave either way. The country is split dork the middle and I for one hope by marking Yes I've not just made a massive mistake.
The one 8,585
That's not what I asked matey, the markets clearly showed what they thought yesterday when the poll came out, so why don't they believe Salmond ?There was a lassie on the news explaining it yesterday. There will always be a drop when things change/ possibly change. It will balance itself out.If Westminster would just agree on the keeping the currency union it would settle down. But that's there ace card. We will see what happens on the 18th Aye there will be a drop in things apart from your taxes there predicting there going to rise by £500 for every working person , mind you somebody has to pay for Salmons golf trips

My opinion, the blokes a dick leading you all down the garden path but then hey, I don't get a say ! On a personal level I really have no time for the man. He does come across as an arrogant wee smarmy toad. However I'm not basing my decision on Eck....he's already said he'd leave politics to guarantee a Yes vote and I 100% believe he would do that.
