aye its called scissors lol

Have noticed that my lurcher nearly always tears his dew claws when racing after rabbits. Not sure if it is the sharp corners or just the thrill of chasing but he seems to catch and tear his dew claws

Get em off,the dew claws.

My vet wont take off my dogs dew claws cause of her age, you can get a bandage which is sticky in wilkos ect. Its similar to whats used on horses that should do the trick. It comes in two colours blue n red just cut to size. Doesnt come off when running or walking have used it on my dog when she ripped her dew claw

If you can't afford to have them removed. Do you can afford the vets bills when your dog rips them off?

I don't. I'd go to blue cross but they don't do procedures that aren't seen as necessary. They classify it as sort of cosmetic....

A shame that.
