Very interesting seeing other country's game and hunters. one question to anyone who knows don't the us have stupid laws on hunting with dogs same as the uk ? I've seen a documentry on TV where fish and game wardens were after some chaps pig hunting with dogs big massive bull cross type lurchers for some reason. also found out another daft law there not aloud to spotlight game (lamping ) this was a deer the guy got caught lamping

All game was taken legally!

 

The whippets worked as draw dogs with the terriers for the rockchuck and nutria after digging.

They catch rabbits both from a slip and freecasted.

 

Anyone else have pictures of the whippets working unusual quarry(for a whippet)?

Unfortunatly in this country, unusual quarry . . . . i.e not a rabbit or rat would be illegal, unless shot first, Making it tough to show pictures.

 

 

Best I can do under the circumstances. And yes. . . . the bloody tree rat was shot and retrieved in accordance with the law. Not very exciting, but there you go Not the most unusual quarry we've managed.
