bosun how do i sort this out it is elder int it ???? attachicon.gifSANY5247.jpg

Ground elder is a fecker Stig, when I moved in here 5 years back, this garden was overgrown to feck and choc full of ground elder. I simply used Roundup where I could BUT you can't spray it around plants you want to keep or it'll do the lot in. the old boy down the road said simply pour the Roundup in a tin can and using a soft inch brush, paint the leaves...! I thought feck that it'll take ages but it never, it was fast enough as your only doing it round plants you want to keep. Works a treat! Keep the tin and brush out the way and use it when ness! ;)

Cracking garden by the way, love that look but whilst I've got a 4 year old, I need that open prairie look too. Though i'm a little bit Forrest Gump and can mow lawns for England, I love it!

I bought an old full scythe at the car booty last weekend, it'll get the full outdoor hit, paint & varnish and it'll go on the side of the kennels, along with the gin traps and other old garden tools.

painting roundup on with a brush is a good idea bosun. ive got a couple of small patches that need a dose of roundup on and i was looking at roll on sticks of it but they seemed a tad expensive compared to buying the liquid and mixing it yourself. thats helped me out

Grass it over and all you have to do is mow it.     320 rolls of turf, 3 days to shift and lay it and a week for my Hamstrings to recover. Sadly, it doesn't look like that anymore. Fu*king dogs.

Screaming for a veg plot mate go on go on

Picking dog shit up of gravel is a nightmare  ..get it leveled and grassed and stick a few chicken's on it they will keep it down.. :D ..they is too much concrete and block paving about these day's which does not help with flooding in area's as the rain water is getting less place's to drain away..
