Oh. So, what was she doing with it? I thought it was a non native plant. Found in America. Do people put it in gardens then?

Genuinely interested :)

thought that was poison oak :hmm:

:laugh:English ivy (pictured right) – which is the type that you see climbing walls and in hanging baskets and window boxes – isn’t harmful, although you should still be careful when handling it if you have sensitive skin as its sap can be irritating.

soft hands mr washie

Yes I am rather sensitive. Damned if I know what it was then. It was climbing up a wall and on a tree, but it doesn't look like English Ivy (not pictured) The leaves are a bit bigger, dark green and shiny.

Going to dip my other hand in it now so I've got a pair of massive fists.

If that works your Mrs has another body part she's wanting you to rub on it LOL

The most important topic of today has to be me once again being a brave soldier. :cray:

I put my hand in some poison ivy earlier and it has swollen up like a boxing glove. :icon_eek:

I didn't realise it did that so quickly.

No need for messages of sympathy, I'll probably be ok in a couple of months.

Easily cured mate ... Get yourself down the chemist and ask for a tub of man the fukc up ............
