Soldiers In The Floods

Recommended Posts

If as Cameron promises money is no object to combat the floods then why not spend a few fukcing thousand and issue the troops with wellies ... In every clip I see on the news of the troops stacking sand bags and helping people they are wearing normal combat boots ... So they must be working 8,10,12 hours a day with soaking wet feet ...........

What happened to all the emergency agencies we usually see at these disasters ,what happened to all the tv appeals for aid ,to help victims , or have you got to be a tatty looking donkey in some third world shithole to qualify for this type of help .

Not sure why the Forces should have to do this stuff. Under-paid, under-resourced and over-worked!! Get some of the benefit scroungers filling sandbags to justify their income :whistling:

Why not? Piece of piss laying a few sand bags compared to some of the shite they have to go into

When politicians make these type of statements, I always imagine them to be addressing other members of the club.

So in this instance Cameron would be re-assuring the soon to be hammered insurance companies (banks) that they will be reimbursed handsomely from the public purse.

The lads can go barefoot for all he cares.

Should get all the asylum seekers out of the centers filling sand bags. And laying them

Just stop using sandbags all together, get them to lay down instead. Hopefully drown a few, thin them out, save ourselves a few quid in the process.

   Love It!!!
