*gauging Interest* A Special R10

Recommended Posts

Hi there ladies & gents, before I take out a finance option on a new project rifle I am trying to gauge any interest into my very special BSA R10 mk2 which has been kept in pristine condition.

The rifle has been with John Bowkett and had stage 2 tuning , which included a regulator upgrade, trigger upgrade and cocking mechanism upgrade. (£240)

The rifle has been shortened to 8" on barrel length which puts the visible barrel (that sits outside the breach) at just over 5" in length.

The rifle also has had a custom shroud and silencer made for it by Milbro Hugget. (£145)

It has also been wrapped in Jack Pyke English Oak Camo-it viynl kit. (£50)

The rifle is sitting at 11.6ftlbs with AA Fields (5.53) and gives a single FPS variance over the fill and I can get 5p groups at 40 yards easily and Im far from the most experienced shooter.

Its in .22 Calibre and it gives 130 full power shots before the PoI starts to drop off.

The MTC Viper in the picture is NOT Included in the sale.

Id be looking at around £780-830 for this setup (It owes me alot more than that!)

If the gun can nock rabbit over 100 yard consistent then it worth the money ...if not ...its no different to a standed r10 no scope .. Or charging gear.. £800 notes I think you will need a special buyer .. Atb with the sale

@Look up , I beg you to come field test this out to 70 yards and tell me its as smooth , consistent or as reliably accurate as a standard off the shelf R10 :)

As stated , Im just gauging an interest , and your lack of it didn't really require a run down in your comments :)

And if someone is to buy an R10 brand new with intention of shortening the barrel, getting the prior mentioned tune done to it , and also want a hugget shroud and mod to suit , they would spend well over the price I'm asking for with this rifle :)

Lets break it down if you were to start this setup from scratch / new

£649.99 - Rifle

£240.00 - Tune & Upgrades

£145.00 - Shroud & Silencer

£50.00 - Camo-it kit

Total Cost of £1084.99

Might not be your cup of tea , but It could be someones

Dont talk shite mate, John Bowkett is a master and his work on pre charged BSA's is second to none...so standard it certainly is not. Scott can ask what he wants and if I had the spare cash I would be interested.

Haven't been on here in a while and haven't been shooting in a while so I'm deciding so sell some gear and focus on other things.
Firstly is my BSA lightning tactical xl in .177 comes with hawke hd 3-9x40 scope, one piece mounts and a LED ray gl2 torch with flip up red filter and buffalo river case.
Only fault with the gun is the front sling swivel is missing.
I also have a mad dog growler jacket in APG size medium
A top gun skeet vest size medium
      British army Dpm smock medium-large
British army issue jungle boots size 11
Large jack pike shooting hold all
British army cam net unsure of size but large enough for a personal hide
I would like to see £130 for the rifle but I'm open to offers for everything together in a bundle
Collection only for the rifle but the other items I can post and take paypal payments
      I'm in Warminster Wiltshire
      Thanks
