scothunter 12,609 Posted January 16, 2014 Report Share Posted January 16, 2014 couldnt care less how many junkies got shot,although most junkies i know of,would sell any gun they ever got there hands on. it would only be a matter of time before some bam takes one to school. someone said about a knee jerk reaction to dunblane. well its something we will never ever know,but the ban on handguns after that could have stopped another incident like that one.so if it saved one life then keep it in place.no one in there right mind wants laxed gun laws surely. I was astounded after dunblane and it came it to light that ordinary joe bloggs had hanguns in there homes. trully i was like WTF our cops arent even allowed shooters.lol no problem withj shotguns (used to have a few) or hunting rifles,just think there no reason in the uk right now that would warrant arming the nation. imagine all thoise rioters cpl year back running about with handguns.does not bear thinking about. Some of them were. I believe that my fate is in my hands, not waiting for the police to respond to a 999 call. Why shouldn't a 7st woman be allowed to fatally shoot a 15st rapist? Why shouldn't a 10st account be allowed to defend himself, against a gang of lads wielding knives as they try to steal his laptop as he's on his way back to his car? It's not about how many gunshots you hear it's about ending this balance of victim disarmament and criminal entitlement. But there are bad people out there that will want to hurt you or your family and there are junkies that whilst off their heads will try and rob you but for me the biggest threat is going to come from the immigrants that are filling this city ... They come from countries where life is worthless and if they break into your house and you catch them they won't think twice about killing you ... If the law changed I would be first in line to by a nice little handgun and double tap anybody that breaks into my house ......... But you are a big strong lad who knows what you are doing........are we going to trust old Auntie Vera to know what shes doing ?.....keeping in mind a lowlife is more likely to choose the easiest target............dangerous ground if you ask me. Ok what about a compulsory course in basic weapon handling that you have to pass before you can buy and own a weapon for home protection .........
