walshie 2,804
At this time of year, it's nice to remember old acquaintances with cards and so on, and and to meet friends and family, but I'd like everyone to spare a thought for our Armed Forces who are away for the period and their families. Serving overseas, they will miss their kids' faces opening their presents Christmas morning, and that's something they will never be able to get back. For the families themselves, having Dad/Mum or husband/wife away for the duration must be very hard to cope with. Here's wishing all of them a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year and I hope they all come back safe as soon as possible. Thanks for what you're doing for your country.
