Suspected to be yeah. She'll get a bullet in a back alley in Somalia sooner or later. I imagine she's just gone from, arrest on sight, to shoot on sight on British military intelligence documents.

It's a right shit storm going on in that shopping mall.

I'm surprised the Kenyan government ain't asked for the sas ,,, being as there in the commonwealth ....

They'll almost certainly have been offered, as they were to Algeria. But national pride comes before everyday folks lives. They may well be there with the Kenyan forces in an 'advisory' role.

The SAS aren't magic though, plenty of special forces rescues have gone tits up. The Algeria thing could very well have been one of them, the terrorists were expecting an attack and were ready to die what ever happened. Also the Algerian army have been fighting terrorism for years and have some pretty decent forces. Sometimes there is nothing anyone can do against a suicidal enemy ready to die for their causes and make an example for the world to see.

Absolutely Nick, the Algerians are well respected in North Africa and I think casualties are to be expected in such a large hostage situation. But who would you want kicking the windows through if you were gagged and bound with an AK wielding extremist in the room? The British military have a lot of influence in training the Kenyans I believe?

I think I'd have resigned myself to being killed tbh :( but yeh SAS would be my preference lol

I've worked in places like that especially Algeria and in the last year I started to get more worried as the terrorism threat got bigger. Can't believe I was doing stuff like that for the money I was getting, there's people on the dole getting close to what I was earning there. I remember we had an alarm once. no one told us jack sh*t but all the soldiers were running round with their rifles etc. We were about as deep in to Algeria as you could get and to be honest I was pretty much kacking myself lol.

Never again!
