Where's cabral and ba gone they should be starting yet there not even on the bench The man does not understand the meaning of the word "mediocre"........he has played with, for and under the best in the game, his work ethic when he was a player in training was second to none...........he is a football fan first and a manager second Its piss easy to blame a manager in football these days but in this case I think he is bang on the money, the players need to look at themselves..........its the case in most run of the mill teams When talent lacks the heart has to replace and if they aint got that then they need a kick up the arse. gnasher16 31,310
I think the approach he takes can only get success dependant on the type of characters he has to work with........some players/sportsmen are intimidated by a trainer with a strong stance and go into their shell.......others are inspired by it and come to the front........he is a very charismatic man but that doesnt always go in your favour as some players will rebel where others will want to perform for him.......it split the dressing room at Swindon where half the squad thought he was the bees knees where the other half couldnt stand him........its a sad state of affairs that top footballers cant just perform for their own pride and competetive nature regardless of whos telling them what to do......i think managers play too big a part in the game today.

Astanley 11,630
I think hes the type of manager who will need to go down a division , build for promotion with players he can bring on , buy in his type of player and get the whole club invested in his philosophy .It will take time for a manager like him to build for success with everyone on the same wave length . Throwing him in with a bunch of journeymen at a club doomed for relegation is always going to be a disaster .
