j1985 1,984
I was saying to a mate the other day that Wenger will be able to control Suarez! I too think he's on his way and will be formidable for Arsenal, he will fit in nicely....as long as he doesn't call anyone a nigger or bite them haha I was talking to a few spurs fans yesterday who were adamant that he'd never join Arsenal as we are a small shitty club!! Ffs they really a deluded bunch. Bales gone, they will be mid table cruisers or hopefully relegated......I'm throwing a party and the drinks are on me if that happens!!
pritch 335
If he wants to go the aint gonna bench him when they could get the money!! He's too good for them anyway!.. yeh but not to good for arsenal i think suarez was trying to make real show there hand & now they have so we'll see where it goes, at the end of the day now it's about the personal terms they will offer him as it will open a can of worms with arsenals pay structure they'll all be knocking on wengers door
stewie 3,387
for the good of football in general lets hope john henry sticks to his guns......... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23627573 suarez signed a contract and should be made to honour that and not f**k off elsewhere because he wants to!!! after missing 18 games and dragging LFC through the mud more than a few times, he should be grateful he still has a chance to play football anywhere!!! if he is forced to stay (which he should) then i wonder if we will see the best of him still............. saying that if the teams doing well in the 6 matches he is gonna miss at start of the season then he might struggle to back in...........6-0 away to the geordies without him last season and doing ok pre season with out him as well...........dont think we will need him for the minnows we play on saturday either...........
baw 4,360
It depends who is pushing for the move, him or his agent. If its his agent keep him, if its him, get rid he'll only disrupt the team. We kept a hold of wanyama when his agent first made noises but he was on a long contract. Didn't do us no harm. Gone are the teams we practically knew the guys personally. Supporters turned player. I reckon in another 20 years, fans will be like the players, move loyalty to different clubs, just support the team with their favorite player in. That's not a dig at you stewie

He is a classy forward, a good player and good players want to win things which he won't be doing with Liverpool........as I said before, they used to be one of the teams that any top player would want to go to but sadly no more, they are at best a shop window.....somewhere for foreign talent to get a foothold in the EPL before being snapped up by a club where hopefully they can win some stuff. Arsenal are in danger of becoming one of those type of teams too except when you play at arsenal you will have better players around you than if you play at Liverpool Not a dig at Liverpool just the truth as I see it
