Longest Thunderstorm Ever!

Read somewhere that a thunderstorm can't last more then 55 minutes ?...

this one obviously has not read that book :laugh: over 7 hrs and still its rumbling on :laugh::laugh:

 

started here at half 8 last night and still going strong the village brooks flooded ---and theres a tree down on the edge of the village its dark as night and I`ve got lights on in the house ....gave my trip to melton market best--------------- the place will be swimming in cow shit . :laugh:

heard a rumble this morning but it was just her letting rip

Woke up 20 mins ago and it's raining but I didn't hear any thunder whatsoever in the night.....I'll be well gutted if I've slept through it, I love a good thunder storm!!!

Unless i slept through it we've had nothing here yet...don't even think we've had rain but then again i'm still in bed :laugh: just on Facebook and everyones complaining about it in Darlington so no doubt we'll cop it soon....

If there is no wind they last longer. Anybody ever seen anything get struck? I seen a round bale of hay get hit once, that was interesting :D

our house was struck the year before last, went down the edge of the roof, blew out a lot of the mortar from the tiles edges and took out a ridge tile :icon_eek:

Nothing here yet and rain is badly needed, everything id bone dry! Ground like concrete ect. However, an hour down the road from me, in sligo, its been lashing down with thunderstorms! Seems to be pot luck, either you get hit or it misses your area..

just found a note the mrs left stuck to the French windows----if your not going melton cant get in the garden out with the dogs or in the workshop--------------the bedroom needs painting :D
