Nice shooting nice gun . What range was the longest shot ?

85 yards,

Bearing in Mind i've been at the THL Meet this week end and been practising long range shooting i.e

Dropped a Knock down Crow target at at a Measured 92 yards

and the 113 m Challenge that Davy t won.

Also perfect conditions no wind, Chest shot and straight down He went.

Some shooting that Daz! To think that years ago 40 yards was the limit. Some people may still baulk at it, but in the right conditions, with the right gear, and the right practice it can be done. I haven't got the skill/ belief to stretch beyond the 65 yard mark

I saw Davy smack that can target at 114m with His tuned HW97KT in .22 cal which was Excellent especially as its not even pushing out 11 ft/lbs,

Alot of Practice bud and My set up is good for 95 yards,

but won't shoot Quarry at that distance, I think this shot is My absolute limit when perfect conditions permit, But most of My shots are between 20- 45 yards.

85 yards thats impressive best Ive ever done is a 70 yard crow. I wouldnt usualy shoot vermin at that rang but this was in a ploughed field the crow walked behind a clump of dirt and all that was exposed was its head and neck so I knew it would be a clean kill or a total miss.

Nice shooting daz and i love the rifle mate ,long distance shooting all come,s down to skill and having the confadence and the bi,leaf in your self to acheve such a shot bud, well dun my longest shot to date is 97 yards with a hw 97kt using jsb exact jumbo 15,89 and vislauk saw me take the shot hitting the rabbit in the head and it was a standing shot to now some will give us flack for tacking such a shot but i like your self like to stick at 20 to 50 yards .Top class shooting once again daz atvbmac

Nice shooting daz.. wheres the bipod gone?

Was going to ask what brand it was?

Nowt wrong with long range if you know you have the ability. My 66 yard crow was a cracking shot! And one i was 100.% sure of

I only Use a Bipod to zero Skot, On TTR 1 and the HW100,

Prefer to shoot without one. :)

Could I just ask, how many times out of ten could you hit a realistic kill zone at that distance?. I have to admit that im struggling to get my head round the ethics of shooting live quarry at that distance. This may open up a hornets nest but I think it needs looking at.
