I don't know exactly what do you mean by "mix", it means to bite ? If it means to bite, they are more barkers than mixers. Betty, the left one on the pic, is my best jack (10 badgers in 5 hunts this

Its not a long bar as such..and the one everyone I know has a handle... a little heavy when first used.. but a great tool for just a normal day.. clean cut sods... munches a lot of different terrain..great when shifting shale, bigger awkward stones or quarry type materials because the grafter tube is way less superior to the axe head shaft for leverage and strength,clearing brash and thorn ... but same again there only good if you're testing them to the max and know how to throw them about.

well spotted Neil , but WTF is commission thingy :) Blaise this is a great thread keep the photos coming have the patterdales taken over as the digging dog with you now ?

I'm digging with patterdale few years now. I've eight patterdales for work on badger. Patterdales terrier is still rare in France among working dogs.
