walshie 2,804
The trouble with that is it would probably cost you as much to dump the stuff as you'd make from the hiring. Dumps take the p*ss.
the_stig 6,614
the smallest skips round us are 120 incl vat ,,,,lad round us got transit connect and a big trailer clears garden rubbish undercuts the small skips
Wxm 1,638
its not a bad price 100 - 120, i was thinking you could of used dumpy bags and just drop them in the local skips/ as its all personal waste from my back garden :whistling:
Nik_B 3,791
Or just dump it in your back garden..its f****d anyway isn't it?
dytkos 17,972
Think you might need a tachograph in the towing vehicle as well as commercial insurance. HTH Cheers, D.
The one 8,592
Unless you have your own ground and its licensed to dump waste your going to have to pay to take it to the dump , thats why theres so much dumped in the countryside
TOMO 29,234
I used to drive a skip lorry ,,,trouble is you need a lot of skips,, two is no good, cos remember the customer usually keeps the skip as long as they want,, to fill it up,, sometimes a skip might be at a customers a fortnight or more,,, don't get me wrong most folk fill them in a day or two,,, but if there there a while ,, you will make feck all
cammy12 176
id like to see that trailor lifting one of those skips with soil to the brim or concrete rubble. how much is it? it will cost you more in land fill and diesel than what its worth

Carraghs Gem 1,699
I would say it wouldnt be a business by itself but handy to have if you do tree felling etc, i would buy this if i was building up a business doing tree felling, power washing, painting, chimney cleaning, cleaning gutters etc like one of my in laws does but then he has the full kit including a massive cherry picker.. The type on the back of a 4wheel drive lorry.
