When I was 'resting' ,..and unemployed,...I definitely had far better running dogs.. No question about it,...and the reasons were fairly obvious,...I slept by day,..and I walked by night...every nigh

A good dogman is a good dogman regardless of if they got a job or not imo.

Im self employed. Can often be doing 45+ hours a week. Have a family. Youngest is 6month old. My misses understands my lamping lifestyle, and if i have a long night, and no work on, she will not wake me up doesny matter how much she needs to go shopping :laugh:

 

Now. My lamping partner, is unemployed and has no sense of time when lamping, we often out till 4 and ill be up at 7.

 

I can keep up with him . Not sure on best dog? But maybe we equal dogmen?

I am gutted when I have to go away to work and leave the dogs, I would love to have a simple job , where I had loads of time to get out with the dogs, so yes, the folk that have all the time deffinately at least have the opportunity to be the best dogmen
