Theres nothing glamorous at all about villany, the perception of "glamour" comes from films and tv. The reality is plenty of time looking over your shoulder, plenty of time behind the door with a loa

What Gnasher says about the krays rings right, they where pure gangsters , lived and breathed the whole scene, born out of the frustration of abject poverty, they really set the bench mark for the who

If we want to talk real villainy that knocks all else into a cocked hat then have a look at the EU, just cleared out £10 billion from Cypriot banks in full view of the whole world and got away with it

That is what the wellfare state is for, isn't it wonderful? If life goes tits up you have the services in place to have clean drinking water on request by law and in virtually every building in the UK without risk of disease or having to walk mile after mile to find it, a network of schemes to fidn your fmaily accomodation to get you out of the wind and rain, a bit of assistance when you get older with your pension (and now a legal requirement to be offered a private pension which your employer HAS to contribute to if they fit the criteria, money for nowt), food donations from crisis support charities that will provide your family with a few days worth of food at a time if you are in crisis, support with paying bills etc if you struggle with debts with a whole manner of schemes to assist you free of charge, free education courses to help improve your chances of employment and to improve your situation and on top of that you get a little extra brass to buy a few things here and there. Pretty fricking awesome when you think about what other countries have.

Oh aye, really going without these days so I can understand why there is such a prolific number of "Bigtime Charlies" out there. Oh wait, it's easier to just take off of someone who has what you want despite not knowing their circumstances and how you taking that will affect their life, their family and their self-confidence.

Welfare state won't last forever. Get your nose out them books or your head out them clouds mate that pedestal must be real high. I wouldn't be surpried if this isle ain't under islamic rule sooner than we think. An if I had the choice to live on the pittance the stats offers or steal/earn a crooked living. Well I won't be sitting on my welsh ass waiting on my Hand me outs

I can't, I enjoy learning new things and if I gain an educational qualification that makes me more desirable to employers from my books then so be it.

Woah!! Where did that Islamic blind sided sucker punch come from? That would be more turf war commentary than gangster discussion.

You do have the choice, that choice is there for you every day but instead, as you have stated, you choose to work to provide for your family, I tip my hat to you. Also the fact you are on a forum that is about hunting suggests that you have the means to provide for your family anyway, I know i haven't bought any meat for quite some time now and come summer I won't be buying any food either but bartering it in exchange for labour I can provide in my spare-time - they get soemthing good out me and I get something good out of them.

@hot meat. Ok like I said most would do what it takes but we're do you draw the line ? You say that if it comes to you getting a pittance or stealing then you won't be sitting on your welsh ass . Then let me ask you this would you steal someone's dog if you had a customer waitng with cash rather than living on a pittance ??

To justify villainy/stealing in order to put food on the table for your family or food in your own belly at some point you/they must of starved.

Id think that 99.9% of the people reading this thread would steal to put food on the table in the extreme. The most basic survival ie: hunter gatherer.

Marshman no I wouldn't steal a dog. Or a cat or a parrot haha. But I would rob shops either shoplifting or burgling. I would try to have no direct complaint so to speak. But rather target buisnesses. But in desperate times and all that. I admit in my longcan fruitful life iv poached land and took vermin game an fishes. I'm too old for them capers today tho. But that's us me. Me being a dogman I could never steal a dog. Just like I could ndver let any harm come to any child as I'm a parent. Just because somebody is or wouldd be wiling to steal don't mean they don't have pride or morals.

@GD Waz. Mate don't make the same mistake as me gnasher wasn't actually meaning food he meant money lol lol.

Illegally gained money as opposed to legally gained money?

Illegally gained money via what means? Stealing, (most)drugs? Both making misery.

Psychopathy (/sˈkɒpəθi/[1][2] is a personality disorder that has been variously characterized by shallow emotions (including reduced fear, a lack of empathy, and stress tolerance), coldheartedness, egocentricity, superficial charm, manipulativeness, irresponsibility, impulsivity, criminality, antisocial behavior, a lack of remorse, and a parasitic lifestyle.

@GG Waz. I think gnash ment illegally but I don't know with him ! I thought he ment actual food lol. But apparently not when he said if his family was starving and if it was a choice between his family and yours going hungry , he was talking about money . Oh I don't know anymore all this moving of goal posts lol .

Honesty is the only thing anyone can ask of you.

It boils down to the fact I couldn't bear the thought of someone living in fear of me or having to do wrong by them when there are alternative ways of getting the best out of them along with what you want in return that benefits both parties.

The gangnamster lifestyle means nothing to me because I just couldn't be that way with people, I'd be a mobsters nightmare :D :D :D

My folks come from nothing, made soemthing, lost it all and then built it back up again so that's where I get it from. They get it from their folk's who were grafters through and through despite working for nothing and having nothing, it was always about the family, if they were short they went out and found work to earn it.

Like i said, its an admireable trait..............but " working hard " is a trait thats more rare than people care to admit......i havent got it i know that much !.....

I say again most of us are products of our enviornment......same as you dont see many Cambridge graduates come out of shitty inner city council estates you dont see many lifelong criminals come out of rural Oxfordshire............i take my hat off to folk like you and yours who work for nice things........but i also take my hat off to folk who take a chance in life to get nice things and are not willing to just sit by and accept their fate collecting a dole cheque every week.....if thats the wrong attitude to have then so be it.

Working hard aint all its cut out to be when you got some lazy work shy parasites about. ;)

Products of our enviroments maybe, who is responsable for that? & what enviroment are you showing your own?

Edit to add: do you want to be perpetuating the same enviroment you are using as an excuse.

Not aimed at anyone, just part of the discussion.
