no he was english baw.yea first book i read of his was the rats. read a few,but like rake grew out them. he had a hump back didnt he.

used to read steven kings book as a youngster aswell.

wouldnt read a horror book now,a load of pish.

Enjoyed The Rats, Lair and Domain when I read them years ago.. Also read The Fog, man that book was twisted! :blink::laugh: RIP..

Is that the same as the film fog? Fkn shit myself when I watched that when I was young lol.

There were two versions of The Fog, the one that Herbert didnt write was made into the film.......

I'm sure John Carpenter directed The Fog - not based on Herbert's book - good film...
