Rehoming Centres For Dogs

Recommended Posts

It beggars belief people let an animal get to this condition,my wife works for an equine vet they get horses in like this ,what the fcuk is wrong with these people if you dont want it ,cant look after it ,give it up .Nothing deserves to be starved to death ,other than the arseholes who dish this treatment out ...... :censored::censored:

its just a sad fact that some people attach very little value to thier dogs ,all too oftain dogs turn up in this condition ,it happens even more at this time of the year when the season comes to its end.

THE SADDEST THING IS ,the same person will probably get thier hands on a another dog just in time for next season ,people overbreed ,sell pups too cheap or give them AWAY FREE if they cant sell them .

thiers NO REASON for dogs to get in such a state ,it makes my piss boil.

I help out with a bit of fundraising for LURCHER LINK and the state some dogs are found in is unbeliveable many have no recall or even basic training ,they do a great job of rehoming lurchers and dont get the recognition they deserve ,also they rehome to WORKING HOMES .

Was never a lover of these places but a big round of applause for the folk who took this dog in. Hope the people responsible for it's original condition are found and dealt with.

Chances are they were let off with a caution if they agreed to sign the dog over...listened to a radio prog yesterday and that seems to be the way it works in a lot (tho not all) cases. Diabolical way to treat a dog though eh? Hope the poor thing got a 'forever' home and owners it deserves...but the sad fact is a lot of these people aren't dealt with...

This happened in my neck of the woods. Why the hell do people do it?

Just as I said above - this f****r signed the dogs over and was given a silly wee fine and was still allowed to keep animals... :hmm: f***ing beyond me...

I was so mad when I read that. I walk around that area ... never even knew those dogs were there. If I'd seen them I can't say I'd have left them there or that I wouldn't have thrown a brick at that b@stard's head. Standing in all that sh!t and starving. Makes me feel violent - that it happens, and that when people get caught out for doing it they get a finger wagged at them. Makes me equally annoyed that this sort of this is turned over to the RSPCA, as if they are some kind of authority. It stinks.

My wife and me know a couple who rescue and re-home Rottweilers - they've usually got 6 or 7. A couple of years ago, that had an adult one that was going to be put down, so the vet called them. The poor creature weighed 29kg and had horrible kennel cough. She was close to death, but they pulled her through. Broke my f***ing heart.

The "owner" was fined £200 and banned from keeping animals for 3 years. How is that A) a punishment to them , or B) a deterrent to others ??? Made my blood boil !
