Football is not my game, but I do enjoy a good match between two of the worlds best clubs. . Madrid fans will be happy, United not so, but irrelevant of who you support, I feel the ref robbed the watc

The reason we all as neutrals watch top games like this is to see who plays the best football and what players influence the game for their teams victory...........when the referee is the major influe

Cannot believe it .Can honestly say I'm gobsmacked

it was a straight red ffs how high has he to go and the stud,s showing nani infulenced the game  in the wrong way by getting sent off.

How do you lift your foot off the ground WITHOUT your studs showing ?....................If he had stood and watched the ball float past him everyone would be calling him a useless lazy overpaid fanny..............he hasnt got eyes in the back of his head so went for the ball,ok an opponent happened to be going for the same ball and was fouled..........yellow card tops.

But once again, referees wanting to make the headlines above the players.

What baffles me is how a high boot like that is an instant red, but inside the box you can do over head kick, and almost take someone's head off without as much as a word spoken. I'm sure it happened at the weekend in the EPL.

he left the ref with no option with that tackle the ref only had a chance to see it once and made the right decision on what he seen .he,s no there to make sure it,s a great match he,s there to protect players and that,s excatly what he did nani has a repution for high tackles he has to look at himself for that tackle he cost em the game it,s to easy to blame the ref.as keane said did i give the ref a reason to dismis me if yes it,s my fault end of story.

What did everyone think of Mourinhos interview after the game, and also during with his little friendly chats with Fergie. Said he wants to come back to England and manage one day...i think we all know where he is going when Fergie decides he's had enough.....

the refs decision changed the game and in my oppinnion got it wrong as for keane he was a good footballer but his oppinions at times are shite,im sure fergie will have something to say to him if there paths cross,

Considering the support Fergie gave Keane during his career you would expect a little respect, I thought his views on the sending off were said for contreversy, most football fans would say it was harsh, but not good old Keano....

The morning after..... I still think the decision changed the game, it's a shame refs can have such an effect on huge matches like this one...... but.... UTD fell apart for the 10 mins after the decision, they would have trained for every possibility, 10 against 11, 9 against 11.. it's common practice... get behind the ball and defend for 10 mins then start again..... Modric was a good substitute at the right time, the boys a good player and with him and Alonso in midfield they made the right decisions on the ball 9 time out of 10... personally I think Rooney should have came on sooner, before any goals were scored by Madrid... make them think about us for a bit Rooney will always put a shift in + he'll ease the pressure when you've got the ball....oh well it's all if's and buts now.... but I bet Fergie didn't get much sleep last night...

im sure he dosent give a fcuk about fergie he,s got no hold on keane as he has over some ref,s at old trafford :D they lost the game so should except it and move on .his decission might have changed the game but he didnt make the stupid tackle sometime,s the player has to hold his hand,s up an admit he made a mistimed tackle that cost em the match. :bye:

Not sure if he'll come to UTD mate, don't think Fergie is ready to quit yet.... last night may change that though???..... will Mourinho wait for the job???... at some point he's got to settle at a club.. will he go back to Chelsea in the summer??

Mourinho would love the UTD job of course but I'm not sure everyone would like him there.... especially old Bobby...

It wouldn't suprise me to see an old UTD lad get the job.......... definately not Keane.... maybe Ole Gunnar???? I think Fergie woulkd like that....

I don't think Keane gives a fcuk about anyone... he hasn't won many fans as a manager or a pundit... but he was a great player for UTD...... Nani tried to bring the ball down, it wasn't even a challenge, he didn't even know that Arbeloa was there.... was his foot high.. yes.... was it a dangerous challenge.. no..... it was a yellow card at best.. and that would have been harsh... Keane knew that, it's not very often he has a lot good to say about UTD and that's a shame, the fans and the manager loved him... but hey ho..

End of the day we lost simple as, you can't cry about decisions that's football.........

Why should Roy Keane show any respect to Fergie or Utd, he used to "work" there thats all. He now works has a pundit and thats what he's doing being a pundit, whether you agree with him or not he's doing his job or would all the Utd fans want Keane to be a sychophantic wanker?

Fair point Johnny he doesn't owe UTD any respect, they are just former employers...., I just think he knows it wasn't a red card.......FFS it plainly wasn't... but rather than say that he has to go against the grain and rub it in a bit, just my opinion..... at the end of the day he played the game harder than most, and knows what is and is not a bad challenge, if he was managing or playing for UTD last night he would be raging at the decision.. but he wasn't he was a pundit, with his opinion, right or wrong I just don't believe that was his real opinion... more a case of " I'm Roy Keane, and I'll say what I like"....

Did you think it was a sending off offence?

No I didn't Kev, thought it was a yellow tbh......big decisions in big games seem to be all the more common these days.

I think the Keane thing is just a % of fans thinking that he should blow smoke up fergies/utd's arse but Keane has never bowed to anybody.
