desertdog 149
here we go lads, whilst we were out beating last week, the keepers here have thrown down a challenge, meet in the pub at 12.00 and then from there we have 24hrs to produce as many different varietys of game, and the winning team takes the pot and the game, so there we have it, i think it might be a no brainer meeting in the pub, we,ll see, they did this last year at the midland, and the keepers beat us, however we were at the bar most of the day, but we outsang them on the way home,i expect this to take place after boxing day, let you know how we fair this time, happy christmas to all, dd

Born Hunter 17,960
That's awfully sporting of the chaps! But come'on, a decent poacher can't compete with a decent keeper for numbers. You're gonna have to be a bit sly somehow to win this........
baw 4,360
Am I reading this right..... Are the keepers allowing you a free for all on their land to take rabbit, hare, pheasant, grouse, deer, salmon etc???

baw 4,360
If that's the case, whatever you produce as proof they're gonna take. If it was me, I'd net the rivers, get the mates to shoot pheasants etc, sell the lot and declare we caught f**k all, you win
