Jamie93 57
I purchased a pair of Meindl Dovre's from them and a couple of days later I decided to track the boots online. The system said they had been signed by myself at half 10 in the morning when I was actually at work. I rang them to tell them that the boots were not delivered at the signature was nothing like mine on the POD. After numerous calls they have now said they can't do anything and the manager said he won't talk to me as he is only going to say the same as the assisstant. The courier company say it is the shops responsability to refund me. What do I do? Thanks
PeakOil 352
How did you pay? I would be on to the bank for a refund first.

walshie 2,804
If there is a signature for these goods, then it is down to the courier company as they are the only people who can put a proof of delivery online. If you didn't sign, then the courier has fraudulently signed it himself. Get on to the couriers and get them to ask the driver what you look like. Guaranteed they will take it seriously when you mention fraud.
PeakOil 352
There might be something in Sale of Goods Act or The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. I would get on to the bank for a charge back first.

It gets my back up that I've been so polite and patcient and they just mug me off! Thanks for all your advice fellas.

GaZMaN888 68
Had the same thing but with a pram for the baby except when the driver was challenged he assaulted my heavily pregnant wife before claiming she was racist (surprise surprise...). Fortunately for him I was in traffic on the M1 and the father in law sorted it out, I would have buried the cnut. Whilst we had a drawn out saga with the courier company it was ultimately up to the vendor to replace the goods that the driver had damaged out of spite.

mikeb28 0
I also purchased some boots from Morgans (Le Chameau Chasseur Neoprene Zip), the whole process was a nightmare, if you go to their web page and click on the feefo cutomer rate link on the bottom you can read my whole ordeal. I think the managers comments ‘To be honest I am fed up of hearing about your consumer rights’ really sums up their attitude. I would steer clear of Morgans as far as you can. Sorry to hear you also had a terrible experience but i'm pleased i'm also not alone.
Jamie93 57
I did see that comment. You can see mine at the top of their page. He hasn't replied to mine yet but his response to you was disgusting!
