A lot depends on the foot shape as to whether or not road work alone keeps the claws short.

did you not ask how much it would cost before getting those jobs done, over here it would cost, 3.50 for wormer, 12.50 for booster (don't bother after first jab), nails i do myself,

.the same size vaccination vial will be used whether its a great dane or a jack russel pup....so yes ..i'd say you could split a vial between terrier pups

That's f*****g serious!! Then they wonder why animal neglect is rife these days? In today's current climate things are tough enough without them jumping on the bandwagon and charging extortionate prices...more proof of rip off Britain..why the f**k immigrants flock to our shores I just don't know? For two dogs, I'd say you got off lightly, compared to the Vets around here !! Nails; do them yourself, wormers; buy them off the 'net, (Vetmedics), a fraction of the Vet price !

Cheers.

they are b*****ds to cut their nails thats why i let the vet do it

I dont believe in boosters, never had them done, and never had any bother over the years.

But unfortunately if I go on holiday abroad, I sometime use kennels, and if you dont have boosters or kennel cough on your certificate, then your stuffed.

Even though difficult, I would do the nails myself and get your wormers like Drontol on line.

Use one of these for their claws: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Wahl-Smartgroom-Nail-Grinder-Blue/dp/B00486DBL2/ref=sr_1_1?s=pet-supplies&ie=UTF8&qid=1353409554&sr=1-1

Even the spookiest of my dogs seem to accept the buzzing vibration well, once they realise it isn't going to hurt. Tie up dog and muzzle it too: restricting it in a non-violent manner makes the dog more likely to accept that you are in charge.
