me and my mate loner off here are out tomorrow with ferrets and we always take a dog or 2 with us , we`ve had 327 since last week in september we don`t get that big of bags, i think 30 was our biggest bag. but that was on the lamp tried to put a pic up but i`ll have to resize em

Iv only been out with the ferret once this season and popped 3 out out a 5 holer, Cover is still too HIGH here.But even lamping its a great night if your getting 10

I normally take September off work and make a good start on the ferreting the last two years its been a waste of time unless we do a wee bit in a horse paddock, The leaves are only now falling off the trees

iv been out a couple of times and havent caught a thing the rabbit numbers are really low now due to mixy i thought it was going to be a good season to cause end of july begining of august there was loads about but they've just about been wiped out now. atb pal

out last week gave up and got the rimmie out,got more with that than the ferrets nothing in the sets.going out soon to ferret another farm so will see what the day brings,i'll have rimmie in bag just incase.

over here the numbers are very low to lads i spoke

to a few lads that have land that are usually alive

with them and everything just seems to be killed off

I think it's maybe a combination of several thing's . . . Shite summer's (to wet), harsh winter's with snow and frozen ground. Maybe VHD ? and also an abundance of Buzzard's around this way. Put all them together it's no wonder we are struggling

I was out at 6 oclock this morning got back about half hour ago just bolting to the salukix and bull x. Done the whole day for .... 2 rabbits. And this is on land where last season we had 30+ in a day.

the numbers are definatly down even around here. i was out in the week and only managed a dozen or so runs in a couple of hours, last season i could get nearly that in 1 field
