Those Avon and derwent ,, have the soles that go smooth in just a few month.

 

I have the Tay sport,,, they have been ok,, but on the inside on both heels the material is all worn away,, and is now getting uncomfortable,, so a new pair is in order,,, think ile try the aigle

Here's a couple o pics I took a few year back, you can see hoe smoth the mucks were after just 5-6 month,, think those were the Avons,

 

 

 

The other pair were called le crosse,, they cost me £50 from the midland about 5 year ago,, they lasted me 2 years,, but they split eventually,, but I liked them a lot, they were far lighter than these mucks I have now,, and had far more support around the ankle you can see there quite slim a the ankle

Your right daz there not vibram sole,, I always thought they were , just looked on muck boots own site,,, think they have just copied the vibram design ,,

 

The ones I have now, that I thought were vibram but arnt,,lol, are better than those Avons , those Avons realy were shite,, just trying to sand upright on wet grass, was like watching a Charlie Chaplin film...always. On your arse .

I think thats what i might have bought my dad for his birthday a couple of years back, he,s still wearing them now ..light as f**k as well if i remember rightly think the pair of them weighed about as much as one of my muck boots..

why not try some STOCKHILL from target sports around the 50 quid mark. neoprene ,good soles and hard wearing.

 

gone are the days of spending a fortune on boots. expensive wellies don't catch game.

 

Thats what ive just bought after them being reccomended. I was looking at the ROK boots and the MUCK boots but after reviews on the soles i went with the stockhill.

 

Ordered them yesterday midday and they arrived 9am this morning.

Thats what happens to mine, if I haven't put a bit of granite through them before

The ones I have are miles better than the first pair,

couldn't walk across a wett grassy slope with hitting the deck several times

imo the le chameur are best out there like slippers but really comfortable and hard wearing the neaprene lined ones are the buisness around 160 to 170 retail but shop around and around £110 very good value . king of the wellies.

£170 for a pair of wellies, should be King, Queen, Ace Jack and 10 for that much FFS

Would spend that on proper boots but wellies, no fecking way!
