Here's one that had bull blood in it hence the blue, didn't work and is now a sterile pet.

Maybe a throwback to a previous outcross to another breed because the breedings so tight ?   Blue staffy, whippet maybe ?? who knows

im sure i read on here some where , if you breed 2 whites you cant get a coloured its genetically impossible ..

Both parents are tri coloured if that helps, as far as im aware the line hasnt been out crossed and my mate has a bit of paper with parents grand parents etc going back a good few year

i had a russell bitch about 6 years ago and she threw some brindle pups and that came from the bull that was added to them that was around 14 years ago. so there had to be something put in them a good few years ago

while we are throwing out suggestions..heres 1 a blue jrt is not a russell..its a russell or white terrier with obvious signs of another breed in the mix if you have a slaty grey/or blue as you call it in the mix... what it is im going to guess. maybe some border way back or if it has lakeland somewhere down the line maybe a little touch of bedlington blood has been thrown back but its just a suggestion. and it has passed its gene on in this mating, :icon_redface:
