I've found that it isn't generally a good idea to add new birds to an existing group: it may not hurt if you have acres and acres of room for them to lay and sleep elsewhere, but mine have never really tolerated newcomers: the phrase 'hen-pecked' comes to mind: they can be really nasty things, and have a very strong pecking order: scuse the pun, but it's true. If you can separate them I would do so and see if it restores calm........and eggs!

Put a egg in 1 of the nest boxes if it disappears you'll know eggs are being taken

Cheers for ya advice. Will get them separated this week and see what happens. Another thing I was told is the cockeral keeps them in check and would stop the fighting between them. But so many people say different things. Just a process of elimination eh

Mine are doin my feckin head in scremain at first light till I get up and feed them no matter how much I feed them at night and ime getting no eggs if I leave the run open for em they shit alover ma garden and fly frew the window shit in me kitchen and eat the dog food proper pissin me of greedy b*****ds gettin me up at daft o'clock with nothin to show for it ther days are numberd the c**t who sold em me assured me I whuld have 4 eggs evryday

ive got 15 hybrid poults if you want some decent stock 9 weeks old this week and coming on fine been on grass since 3 weeks.
