Lucky enough to pretty much be able leave them where the fall around here. Otherwise it's a haul to whomevers door.

 

Hung one on my mates gate this year, caused a bit of a stir when some primary school kids saw it as they pulled up in the bus to collect one of his :laugh:

 

I spose the pool of blood and large open wound didn't help.

We tend to leave them on the field or in the ditch.

Less people see the better as has been said.

Saying that we did arrive home this week with 2 still in the carry tray on back of vitara!

Was a quick trip back out to nearest hedgerow to get rid!

 

Is it just us or dont there seem so many about this year!

2011 we had over 55 in 3 weeks after harvest

2012 only 20 odd

Yes I beleive they are low on numbers compared to previous years around here too,but its hard to tell theres still a lot of crop around,
