... passed my test (first time :D) and got a car. As such I've been bombing around all over the show and I haven't been on here much lately. But, following an enquiry, I thought I'd post and catch up with you lot :)

This is one of the new places I've found for a stroll with my brood. And Kittlerox ... this is about as much hill as I can handle

Straight up!

And up some more ...

All the huffing and puffing (on my part that is ) is worth it when you finally hit the level

Even the big bitch needed a breather

But not so much she didn't have time to give the terrorist a smack

And homeward bound

My apologies in advance, I'm not much good at landscapes. But I had to have a go - it's beautiful up there! Thanks for looking

When I tell them we're off out with the dogs they all moan - then we get there and they run wild, messing with the dogs and generally annoying each other, and I say 'right, home time' and they moan that they don't want to go home!

These were my favourite non-scenic shots

Walking kids and dogs often leaves me with a high clothing bill and an awful lot of washing!

Welcome back Mrs some really nice shots

Thank you for asking, by the way :) I'm well rusty with the ol' camera but I've got the bug again  Having a car makes a difference - I've lived here for 8 years and only now am I really getting a chance to see the place properly!

Thank you Penny :D Passing is well hard work now, most people my age who've done it said they answered a few questions and passed and it was easy. I did the written test in June, then I knuckled down and did two 1.5 hour lessons a week ... you have to know all sorts of obscure road rules, and do an independent drive for a section of the testing - which means they tell you what road signs to follow and you've to find your own way. Which is all well and good but difficult when you're a bag of nerves! When the guy told me I passed and with only one minor, I cried :icon_redface: I put off doing it for such a long time, now I've done it I wonder why I didn't do it sooner. Putting all the kids and dogs in the car and setting off whenever I want to is possibly the best feeling ever :D
