That the one written by John 'Lofty' Wiseman? I have the Collins Gem edition of that, possibly the best book I own. As a kid it proved to me nature already contained all a man could need to live, and live well.

I've got one mines older tho probably early 90's

Very good book indeed it's full of info I love the make shift houses it shows you how to make from small ditch shelters to full insulated log cabbins lol very clever. The traps aswell are very good indeed. I used that book when I skinned my first deer over a decade ago

Is it the one by lofty..wizeman ? i've read it real good,, had a go at making a few things out of it.. the gill net was fun to do..

i've loads of books like that and will never part with them,, will be handy when all the pakis start world war 3..part of their plan has stated,, they have done the invasion .. and a few dry bombing runs

Fecking hell, just dragged my old copy out, christ knows where I got it from as a kid. Says inside it was printed in 1986! It's older than me! I remember spending hours reading it and messing about in the woods trying stuff out. The sorta book you would want handy in a plane crash. :laugh:

I think the pocket edition is exactly the same as the full sized one, but then I've only ever read the pocket sized one so don't know for sure! :laugh: Great little book! :good:
